PBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) 2.1 (newer version available)

The purpose of the PBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) is to provide a valid, reliable, and efficient measure of the extent to which school personnel are applying the core features of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS). The TFI is divided into three sections (Tier 1: Universal PBIS Features; Tier 2: Targeted PBIS Features; and, Tier 3: Intensive PBIS Features) that can be used separately or in combination to assess the extent to which core features are in place.

New Version! Tiered Fidelity Inventory 3 (TFI 3.0)

The TFI 3.0 replaces the TFI 2.1, incorporating updates better aligned with current PBIS practices and priorities, check out the announcement. The TFI 2.1 will remain available for at least the next year to ensure a smooth transition. We encourage schools to adopt the TFI 3.0 when it makes sense for them to do so, typically in the Fall, to benefit from its enhanced features and improved guidance.
