Considerations for Evaluating External Offers of Support in Crisis Recovery
Following a crisis event, districts often receive an outpouring of support, offers of help, and donations. The purpose of this brief is to provide district leadership teams with considerations for navigating the process of selecting supports from external entities during crisis response and recovery. It can be used for planning and preparation for crisis and emergencies as well as just-in-time during a crisis but is not meant to be a comprehensive implementation plan. The State Systems Fidelity Inventory (SSFI): A Tool to Assess State Capacity to Support Effective Practices
The State Systems Fidelity Inventory (SSFI) is a free tool for measuring state efforts to support PBIS (or MTSS) implementation. Similar to how school teams measure fidelity with the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) and district teams use the District Systems Fidelity Inventory (DSFI), state teams can use the SSFI annually to identify initiative status, monitor progress, and inform state strategic planning to make their systems more effective, efficient, and sustainable.
